I don't have a 350 but I do have a PVR-USB2 and a 500. The former came with a full CD of Hauppauge software, the latter didn't (since it was an OEM white box part intended for a WinXP MCE build).

However, to verify that my PVR-500 worked, I simply downloaded the latest drivers and media software (Win2K, etc.) from hauppauge.com. The "Intervideo Non-CSS Decoder For Hauppauge" was embedded somewhere in that mess.

GB-PVR supports that decoder.

Actually, its plenty legal to use it for free. The end user doesn't pay the licensing fee, the provider does. The person who writes and releases it is supposed to pay a fee for each one sold. DScaler has a free mpeg2 decoder. FWIW, the NVIDIA decoder is well worth the $20.

Yes, thats exactly what I mean. I dont care if people post links to other websites containing these decoders, but I wont to be distributing these "free" decoders myself (ie, distributing with the app or from my website would be illegal).
