Ever since upgrading to to 98.8 my computer has been crashing often during recordings. It happened last night around 8:42 PM. This seems similar to http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...ight=crash

I have attached the .Net error from XP logs, I also attached the relevant GBPVR logs. Would you please take a look and see if there is anything I can do to stop this? Thanks.

Are you finding that the recordings simply show as pending after the finish time, until you restart the recording service?

Sub,
After some lengthy troubleshooting I was able to get some more info on this. GB-PVR crashes the system with the above error when either trying to do Live TV or a recording for a ATSC channel that has a weak signal (less than 60%). I monitored this for a long time because channel signals are almost always good, however when they are weak I start having trouble.

In previous versions, when the signal was not strong, in Live TV nothing will be shown, and I can exist any time. Recordings resulted in empty files. Now it is more problematic.

I hope this gives you more ideas to be able to diagnose the problem.

Thanks
