TV shows only record partially

Hi,

Has anyone else had an issue with schedule shows only recording partially? This has happened for the last 6-7 shows I tried recording. GBPVR seems to just record maybe the first few minutes of the show.

This is usually a sign that your PVR250/PVR350 is sharing an IRQ with another device. In this situation GB-PVR never gets any notification of an error, the card just stops producing data after some minutes...

Hey Sub,

i just had an instance of this last night. I was recording a programme which should have been 1hr 2 mins (padding included) but only 34 mins was recorded. The timestamp of the mpg is the finish time.

The 250 is on its own IRQ but interestingly the problem I believe happened at the time my wife used the computer to browse some of our hoildays snaps with a friend.

I record onto a seperate drive from where she was browsing the snaps and seeing as the processor is an AMD XP2700+ I'm wondering what the problem is. There is nothing in the logs to indicate that the recording stopped writing to disk. Everything indicates a successful recording.

Any thoughts or debugging suggestions on this one?

Which 34 minutes did you get?

The first 34 minutes. Though i have since installed the latest drivers for the 250 and i have not been able to reproduce the problem. I have started a recording and put a heavy load on the system and so far it seems to be fine. I get the impression it was a driver issue. I'll keep an eye on it,

I got about 60 seconds of a programme once, but I think mine just needs a reinstall as its currently recording programmes if and when it feels like it (as in only about a 3rd of my programmes get recorded)
