I buy a TV card but it seen to not work with GB-PVR. Somebody can help me?

Sorry, this device lacks the required hardware MPEG2 encoder, so is not compatible with GB-PVR.

Not entirely true. I have the 'Leadtek WinFast TV2000 XP Deluxe' and run it with a theater 550 and it works with the recorder plugin software.

I no longer even bother mentioning the software encoder plugin. The author that developed it is no longer here, so no one seems to be supporting it. Its more hassle than its worth - people should just get offically supported cards.

I agree you should get supported cards if you are planning to tailor a system for the GB-PVR. However, in my case I already had the hardware and was looking for anyway to use both cards. I read about the recorder plug software here in the forums and was able, with lots of config changes, to do it. I found that very helpful and think it deserves to be mentioned with a warning of the lack of current support for it. I have used about 90% of pvr based software both on windows and linux OSs but have only been using GB-PVR for about 2 wks. I my case it has been harder to get support for the features on my sound card with most PVR systems than video support. -I don't like to close windows. The more possibilities the better.-
