moving shows to video Ipod

I have my video ipod which I connect to my gbpvr media computer, I have itunes installed on it as well. Would like to be able to pick shows from within gbpvr convert them to ipod format(know how to do that with the transcode feature in videos or batch process within config of gbpvr) but then be able to import them into video ipod with out having to do anything else. Are there easier ways of getting video onto video Ipod any other software which simplifies the process? Would appreciate some ideas with this?

why not just drag and drop? or maybe check the settings for the location that the transcoded videos are, and point that to your default location in ituens. or change you itunes to look for video files on startup in your video's folder.
