EWA - no channel icons except 1

hi there - i have a small issue where i have 6 tv channels setup and in gbpvr i can see all 6 icons for the channels - however in ewa i can only see 1 channel icon and the other 5 just display the channel name - i tried upgrading to ver 50

any ideas ?

Sounds as though the channel icon name is not matching the channel name.....what is the difference between the one channel icon for the channel that shows compared to the other ones that do not?

Are they the same file type?

i checked the name in ewa and the name of the icons in the media folder in gbpvr and they are the same - i have all the icons showing in gbpvr just not ewa

just a side note - i rebuild this machine the other day - got an upgrade - and from memory using the same setup for channel names etc - the icons use to display correctly - just not sure why its not working now.

UncleJohnsBand - i just check the coding of my EWA and for some reason the 5 channels that dont have the icon next to them are coded differently to the 1 channel that does have the icon there - see the difference to the first 5 and the last one ? any reason that the coding would be different ?

It is normal to see that type of html when EWA is not finding or matching an Icon file to the TV Channel.

Are your channel icons stored in:

c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\media\channellogos

Do they all end in .png .jpg or .gif?

yes there are all there - all jpeg files

found it - made a copy of all the logo files and renamed them to .gif's now they all display

Hmmmmmm......

That would lead me to belive that the extension was not .png, .gif or .jpg....

You mentioned that they were all Jpeg images.....was the extension .jpeg? IF so that would explain why they did not show up.....the 3 valid types coded have to end in .gif, .png or .jpg.
