Synopsis of my problem:
I'm not getting any audio from the Composite Input 3 on my Hauppauge PVR-350 using GB-PVR.

I have the AV Cable Set expansion for my card. I've setup two Capture Sources in the Config Util. One for Cable TV (works fine) and the 2nd for the AV Cable Set (Input 3). My setup is as follows:
Quote:Source Name: Input 3
Recording Source: Direct Recording
EPG: None
Channel Changer: None
I've also mapped this Recording Source to a channel #.

Direct Recording Setup:
Quote:Card Type: Hauppauge PVR350
Country: USA
Board Number: Capture Device #1
Source: Composite 3, External Tuner.

When I start GB-PVR and tune to the channel number, I get a picture but no audio for Input 3. However, when I use the WinTV app and tune to C3, I get both picture and audio; so everything externally is connected right.

I do know previous drivers for the 350, there was a similar issue. If I remember, for the C3 input, WinTV would take the picture from C3 but the audio from the Cable TV input. With the latest driver release (driver version 1.18 and middleware version 2.2), that has been fixed.

Remembering that information, I tuned to the VCR channel in GB-PVR and plugged in my MP3 player. Sure enough, GB-PVR is taking the video from Input 3 and the Audio from Input 1 (line-in on the card itself).

That made me think the was a work around put in to GB-PVR to compensate for the driver issue but with the latest drivers, it's no longer an issue. I tested this on .98.08 and .98.13 and both show the same symptoms. Then again, it could be something I have setup incorrectly in the software.

Anyone else have experience with setting up the PVR-350's inputs?
