as long as you have an extra video / audio input you can set it up as a extra capture source - in the config app -ive done it for my xbox and hauppauge pvr 150 mce - it works a treat..

did you try ? do the following

* go into config
* open the capture sources tab
* click add
* make sure the recording source is set to direct recording plugin
* press settings
* choose your card type
* choose the country
* choose the board number - ie if you have 2 cards and you want the xbox video / sound to go through card 2 choose that one
* change the source to composite external tuner
* press ok
* choose "no channel changer required" for the channel changer option
* then add a channel for you to be able to change to - i called my video
you might need to save the setup before you can add the channel - i cant remember the exact way cause it was a while ago that i did it.

press ok and close config - you should be good to go.

cheers

Are you trying to play while watching through GBPVR?

I think the delays produced by all the extra procesing will make your gaming experience less than ideal. a 50 or 100 ms delay is perfectly acceptable watching TV, but means death to a gamer.

You can still record using GBPVR, as long as the video goes straight to the TV.

i have 2 tuners so one will play the xbox and the other will be able to record - however if i have 2 recordings my xbox will switch to that recording automatically
