Hello,

i would like to uninstall gbpvr and do a complete reinstall since I seem to be having some unresolved errors..
I did not see the program in add/remove programs so could someone explain the best method to remove it and reinstall clean...

I tried deleting the gbpvr folder and reinstalling, but I still think that there are registry keys that need to go also...

thanks bossman9

PS the machine has multiple user accounts and i suspect that permissions may be the root of some issues:confused:

Usually you'd uninstall from 'add/remove programs' in the control panel, then if you want clean reinstall I'd suggest deleting the c:\program files\devnz directory (which contains some retained data files). There is no registry settings you need to worry about.

Thanks Sub..

the odd thing was that I did not even see it in add/remove programs, so I just deleted the gbpvr folder like you said.....

thanks, Bossman

You mentioned multiple accounts, so maybe you installed from a different account?

Sub...

I think when I first installed gbpvr I was logged into my user profile (XPPRO SP2). As an after thought, I thought better that stuff be done under my sons';s user account since it is his computer (he has admin rights)......I tried to add gbpvrtray to all user startup....bad idea....

In short, I think I may have some permission issues..

Any Ideas??

Thanks Bossman9

I dont know. As I said above, usually you'd uninstall from 'add/remove programs' in the control panel - deviating from that is in uncharted territory
