What is the proper way to discontinue a season recording? I have tried twice to cancel and each time all recordings are no longer scheduled. In fact, I had a hard time just getting anything to schedule each time after I tried to cancel a season. Now I am afraid to try again. So, what is the proper way?

Actually that hasn't always work for me. Sometimes I have tried to only delete from Recurring but it continues to record the show. What I have found that works every time is to first delete the individual episodes (in Pending) that are scheduled and then delete the season after that (in Recurring).

Thats what I did and the result was that suddenly nothing new was scheduled. The ones currently on the list finished but no new ones were added even with the guide updated. I tried to make it add some and it would not. I tried several things and at some point it started working again but I don't know exactly what I did so I became gunshy. I will try again. If you hear a big scream coming from the upstate SC area, its me and it did it again. Wink

I'm happy to look at the logs if you have anything odd happen, but that is exactly what you're supposed to do. I've never had any problems with it in the past, and dont remember others having problems with it either.
