an issue i found with installing the new release. a looong time ago, when i first installed GBPVR, i changed the default install directory from
c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr
to
c:\program files\gbpvr
this was at a time when i was trying out every pvr proggie out there and i wanted to keep it in a directory where i could more easily find it based on the program name to delete it when i found it to be useless. well, much time has past and it is the only pvr software left on my computer.
there have been a few small issues in the past with this altered default directory but in general, while now i wish i had left the default, all has been fine.
i noticed with this latest install that when doing the upgrade, it removed all of the files to be upgraded from my original installation directory, but copied all of the new files into the \devnz\gbpvr directory, wiping out all my settings. of course i had backed up the previous install so nothing was lost, and i have now set it all up in the \devnz\gbpvr directory, but i thought you would be interested to know...
