I have GBPVR installed and working. I am attempting to play DVD's from harddrive.
I downloaded vlc and installed that, downloaded and installed the xdvd installer, overwrote the dll for the patch, and changed the settings.xml to
<settings>
<TempFile>i:\dvd.mpg</TempFile>
<PlayMode mode="SIZE" value="150"/>
<DVDDrive>f</DVDDrive>
<BaseFileDirectory>i:\</BaseFileDirectory>
<MountDVDDrive>g</MountDVDDrive>
<ForceMvpMode>true</ForceMvpMode>
</settings>
(where i:\ is the drive that has GBPVR installed and extra space), f is actually a Daemon tools drive with something unrelated mounted on it, and g is a Daemon tools drive with nothing mounted on it).
I have the XDVD button and can navigate to DVD content on i:\, but playing doesn't do anything on the GBPVR. (It is in another room so I can't tell if anything is happening on the desktop. If I have vlc.exe running it is gone when I come back, if not then nothing is apparently different, but the results are the same...it doesn't do anything.)
If I select 'f' in the menu (I am not trying to play an iso, just vobs in i:\ directories) it says "Could not find part of the path i:\GBPVR\f" and freezes.
Thanks for any thoughts on this.
