YouTube plugin doesn't work with Overlay

Hi Sub,

just upgraded and tried the YouTube plugin. A couple of things:

1. I get an "active window" when using overlay. The video works fine in VMR9. The logs should show this.

2. When I enter a null search string GBPVR gives an error and GBPVR no longer

My family really like this plugin. Is it possible however to keep the downloaded file in a YouTube directory so that we don't have to wait for downloads all the time? Allowing for background downloads would be good as well - at least have a cancel button when it's downloading.

It seems to work fine for me with overlay.

There wasnt an obvious cause in your logs, but I did notice it was trying to use two different audio decoders at the same time, which may have something to do with it. Probably worth trying a different audio decoder selection in the config app to see if it helps. I think this is because you had the 'MPEG Audio Decoder' selected, which cant handle the audio seen in some MPEG2 files.

Can you reproduce and post the logs? I tried here and didnt get an error, but I did get an undesirable blank set of results with no message indicating anything to the user.

I will be making some improvements in this plugin in the future. It was only thrown in at the last minute before the release, so hasnt had much time spent on it yet.

I think I've also fixed my overlay issue...I looked in the config.xml file and found that vmrwindowed was set to true so I set it to false. I looked at last graph and it was still trying to render as vmr9 despite my setting it to overlay. What are your thoughts on that one?

It might be time for a brand new install instead of a an update after changing my mobo.

Highly unlikely. The vmrwindowed setting is only read if its already using one of the VMR renderer options. If you attach logs that show this I'll take a look though.

It looks like a skin error. Try it with the default blue skin.

Hi Sub,

I've switched it back to true and now it still works...something weird is going on with my system. So you may not want to continue with my problems until I reinstall everything.

On a second note, I've discovered that for my system (with the above caveat) that the null string error only comes up when I use a different language than "English" but not "modified English" or "US english".
