Waking Up

hen I schedule a recording with gb-pvr, my pc is not waking up from standby. The thing is, is it used to, so my guess is it's nothing to do with gb-pvr, but something else. Any ideas on what it could be? Or where I should start to look?

take a look at this file c:\WINDOWS\WindowsUpdate.log

do you find an entry like the following for your scheduled recording?
2007-01-07 17:28:23 1364 67c AU AU received wakeup event

any message like "AU received hibernate event" immediately afterwards? if yes, find out what caused it. i had once scheduled a batch file for wakeup, renamed that batchfile but forgot to change the scheduled task, guess how m$ behaves in such a case... wakes up, finds no batch, hibernate... :mad:

oh, and try a scheduled task with wakeup settings, does that work?
