Channel Problems

I am using the latest GBPVR along with DishTV and the PVR 150. I have a few problems with channels. I can use the remote that came with the TV tuner to change the channel but when I try to change the channel to HBO (channel 300) or above, it jumps back down to channel 25. It does, however, say for a minute on the bottom of the screen show the listing for HBO. Another problem is that Zap2It didn't import channel 112 which is HGTV so I added it in manually. But I still can't change the channel to 112. Anyone have similar problems? Thanks for any help!

What source are you trying to record from? Are you recording using the svideo or composite input, with cable connected to you DishTV box?

My setup is STB to to PVR 150 with regular cable wire and then video output from computer to the TV with S video. It's not recording I am having a problem with. It's just regular surfing.

I dont know what your exact set up is, but when you use the sort of setup, GB-PVR will only show whatever channel your Dish box is currently tuned to. Most people would use a IR Blaster to change channels on the dish box when they need to change channels so that it all happens automatically. I assume you're doing this? If so, then it sounds like your IR Blaster isnt reliably changing channels for you.
