Auto-Record and Delete when changing channel

Hey Guys,

I just finished (or almost finished) putting together my PVR using GB-PVR and I'm trying to add one little option. I'm not sure if I would have to make a plug-in for this (which I am willing to look into).

Anyway, what I want to do is automatically enable the "Timeshifting mode" that GB-PVR goes into when you hit pause when watching live tv as soon as you start watching a channel. As I understand it this records the live tv you are watching so you can pause, rewind, etc live tv.
Then when you change the channel, the file for the previous channel gets deleted (or saved depending on preference) and the next show is put into "Timeshifting mode"

Can this be done through GB-PVR settings, or is a plugin required?

You can do this by disabling 'live preview' mode in the config app. Its off be default, since I prefer faster channel changes and prefer it to not always be writing to disks.
