Turn off the signal checks, by setting BDACheckSignalStatusDuringRecording to 0 (from the other thread you mentioned) and the problem goes away.

A quick glance at fray_bentos logs indicates the same thing is happening.

bump, alzheimer is getting worse, now i'm gooing blind, gotta go to an eye specialist, didn't even see he attached logs :confused:

Just like to say thanks to those who posted helping. The suggestion solved the problem, smooth recordings once again.

Setting BDACheckSignalStatusDuringRecording to 0 in config.xml worked for me to though I would like to get the drivers working correctly if that’s the problem so will have to experiment a bit more. But at least it a working machine again. Strange that we seem to be using different cards, I wonder how generic these chip sets are .... Thanks for your help much appreciated.
