can't get weather to show in VA panel

I have gbpvr 99.5 and the weather plugin and the weather plugin is checked to display on VA panel but it never shows it in the VA panel.......and i'm also using the default blue skin.....

I don't believe the VA panel is activated in the standard blue skin. You would need to add a line to the main menu skin XML to show it.

SpecialElement name="Panel" panelName="VAPanel" visible="true" transparency="1" loc="395,265" size="340,150"/>

you may also have to set the next recordings to 'false' if your going to use the VA panel to show that info as well.

that added the weather, it also displays the time and date, is there a way to remove the time and date from the va panel? and the weather is in the lower right corner how do you get it to the left side? I'm assuming it's the loc setting but I don't know what the #'s do.....

the time in the blue skin is coming from the clock panel, not the VA panel, i think. I don't think the VA panel shows time. If you want to disable the clock just set the clock panel from true to false in the skin XML file in the main menu.

The location is controlled by the loc setting. you'll have to play with that a bit until you find the spot you want. one of the numbers is pixels down the other is pixels across the screen. it's a trial and error method, at least it is for me.

The VA panel, by default, shows the time, date, and day of week. If you want to get rid of these, go into the skin\blue\panels\vapanel.xml file and delete the lines
