Net Radio won't play some stations

I'm using the latest release 99.5 and half the Net Radio stations won't play. They try to connect then fail. If I download the .pls file manually from shoutcast and run it through VC Media Player, it seems the first source of the offending station doesn't work but if I switch to the second (or third etc)source I get audio.

It looks like GBPVR tries the first source in the .pls and if it fails, it gives up instead of trying subsequent sources.

Is this the intended behaviour?
