I did a complete clean install of GBPVR (once I found my favorite plugins) and only have the plugins in my signature. When I start GBPVR, I have it start in Live TV mode. many times lately I will switch to my GBPVR machine and there will be an MS error stating that GBPVR had encountered an error and must close. I have to drag out my keyboard to tell it to either send or not send a report to MS (which returns nothing) then GBPVR shuts down (not 100% sure but I believe the recording service is still running)

Another symptom is my TV buffer folder is full of files, and the HD is almost full. I had asked Sub about the TV Buffer folder not deleting old buffers before, and he stated that it should delete them 10 minutes after switching from that channel.

As a workaround could I enter a command in one of the batch files called by GBPVR to have it delete all files in the buffer folder? What batch files are called, and when? What would be the best place to place this command?

Zip and attach the logs when it next happens and I'll take a look. Does an entries get created in the Windows Event Viewer when this occurs?

I'll let you know - last night it was still running. I'll try to get the debug info from the crash, but I doubt even the people at MS can decode that junk!!!

Well, there was entries in my Event Log regarding .NET 2.0 crashing. Just checked from work (using Orb) and again I have 13 files in my TV Buffer folder. I will check when I get home to see if GBPVR crashed again and post the event log info and logs.

Well, turns out that my data drive lost it's format! Drive shows up as good and no S.M.A.R.T. errors - reformatted and recreated the folders, seems to be behaving itself - will monitor.
