This problem is pretty random, it only happens after closing the app after a reboot.

AMD Athlon 2000+
1Gb ram

WinXP Pro

Hauppauge 150

Using IR blaster to change direcTV box.

Nothing really springs to mind, but zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

I believe that it only happens when I use the external program to change the channels. I will go test this further.

Ok - more information on the problem. Although it was working earlier (don't know why), this is the problem. It starts up, I select "Live TV", it takes like 5-10 seconds, the channel on the dish box changes to what the previous channel was, and then it crashes saying that it tried to access protected memory.

I think I just thought of something, let me check it out real fast and let me report back.

Nope, I was thinking that maybe it was crashing because it was trying to change the internal tuner to channel 502 even though it can only support up to 125, but I was wrong. I guess I will keep trying.

I am setting up an XP machine with HVR 1600 and kept getting the same error while going to "Live TV". After trying different settings, I found out that this is only happening when I select "overlay".
AMD Athlon64 2800+
1GB DDR and 2x 160GB SATA HDD
ATI Radeon X1650Pro AGP 8x 512MB DDR
1x OnAir HD, 2x HVR1600, 1x PVR-150
Cox Analog Cable and OTA ATSC
Windows XP SP3
GBPVR (>= 1.3.7)
