Best way to connect plasma tv to gbpvr pc

Tipster - Are you using the geforce 4 for TVout via svideo?
Even though your using a 480i input you are sending 1024x768 through s-video?

svideo will only ever carry a standard resolution PAL (720x576) or NTSC (720x480) video signal.

That is what I thought.

But Tipster said in his first post "The laptop is 1024x768 @ 60 Hz which is what most S-Video NTSC are at."

So that is why I asked.
I've sent a 1024x768 desktop to a SDTV via the Svideo cable & the whole desktop showed.

However I'm pretty sure the video card scaled the picture down in resolution so it all fit on the TV.
