scane cache

Does the scan cache file contain anything other than tuning info (or at least no machine or card specific info)? On a multi tuner system, could I just do a single scan for my first tuner card, and then copy and rename it to fill in the other two tuner cards? If so, would it be worth holding a repository of peoples scan files on the wiki so that you could just download one that matched your transmitter????

In theory you could do this.

There is nothing machine specific, but I do update the format from time to time.
