recordingservice crashing

HI,

Since this weekend my recordingservice is crashing. I did 2 things: uninstalled GBPVR, copied the db and config files back and reinstalled. The only plugin installed is weather. The second thing ist hat I enabled thre RSS feeds for the webadmin. Any idea from the logs or congfig file what could be the cause?

I wonder what Tortuga.Rss is? This is the component which had problems. This sounds like something trying to download rss feeds from somewhere. Why is this running in the recording service. Virus?

TortugaDN.dll is part of the EWA. I posted the question in the EWA forum.

It might have to do with the new RSS functionality in the EWA.

It might have to do with the new RSS functionality in the EWA.

This is being tracked over in this EWA Support thread.....the error Jeff reported in that thread is a normal error I see when hot swapping EWA that started when we moved to .Net 2.0. Stopping the recording service (as the instructions on the wiki indicate) eliminates this issue.

I have not see this error and have not been able to duplicate. I posted some requests on the thread and a request for EWA logs following the crash in the EWA Support Forum for you to answer.
