WDM Tuner Support?

I was looking at a HAVA network device (just for the svideo input to mpeg - I don't care about the analog tuner)..

It appears that these devices will not currently work with GBPVR - Is this wrong? Should these devices work with GBPVR?


Following is some info from the HAVA forum:

"The HAVA driver complies with the WDM Tuner model and will work with any software application that can interface with MCE compatible WDM analog tuners."

To be honest, I dont know if it'd work or not.

The "WDM tuner support" bit is a bit vague really. All supported analog cards (Hauppauge PVR150 etc) have WDM compliant drivers, but then so do most of the unsupported software encoder cards.

The majority of devices that can be used with MCE also work with GB-PVR, but we can never be sure until someone tests one.
