I used the Tweak tool to try and adjust the brightness on my PVR500 recordings (they were always a bit dark). I don't want to use the tool again as it messes up my PVR350 (even when I only change settings for the 500).
Problem is, I managed to set one of the 500 tuners too bright - outdoor daylight scenes are like 'white-out'. I used HCWCLEAR (remove everything mode) and re-installed all drivers but that one tuner is still too bright.
Are the settings held in the registry? I would've thought HCWCLEAR would have cleared those if that was the case. Or are they held on the card? Would a full power down (disconnect mains lead etc.) clear back to factory defaults?
