Looking to get the usb tv adapter working with this software any help would be greatly appreciated <sorry should have read the posting rules 1st, getting required info> Okay logs uploaded and i'm using v0.99.12

Sorry, this device lacks the required hardware MPEG2 encoder.

that's not good your software looks great... Guess i'm gonna have to get one that does do you suggest one that is an usb adapter?

For analog TV, the Hauppauge PVR USB2 is the most widely used (best supported) device.

How about the Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-950 stick will it work with gbpvr

You can use the digital side of that device with GB-PVR, but not the analog side (also lacks encoder).
