DVB using XMLTV epg

To be able to record teletext subtitles i've bought a pinnacle pctv dual dvb-t diversity stick and it seems to work

The problem is that when using DVB EPG update i only get the next 24 hours, so
i was thinking if it was possible to use xmltv epg.

So can the DVB tuning recquest part go into the xml file in some way?

I've searched but only found something about getting a full program schedule list in the tvguide, in my case some program needs to be recorded with the dvd-t others with my hauppauge pvr 150mce card, do to hearing-impared family members whom really need those teletext subtitles.

You can use DVB with XML. You're best to remove you capture source and create it again from scratch rather than just trying to change the EPG source of your existsing capture source.

Setup your capture source, hit the 'update epg' button to save it and import the channel list, then hit the 'map digital channels to epg channels' button, then map each of the channels.
