for $24 bucks, sure would be nice to add a tuner or 2!

Pretty sure that it is a software Mpeg encoder so it's not officially supported.

The key words to look for to know if it's a software card are: "Conexant BT878 or Philips SAA713x Chipset" (pasted from your description). From my personal experience, you're better off avoiding software cards - especially in multi-tuner systems.

If you're in the US, go to Ebay and type in "Emuzed" (this is an NTSC card). I bought one of these MAUI IIIG cards for $23 w/shipping and it works just as well as my PVR150's!

A buddy of mine ran into this erecyler guy at a school auction - what he does is buy pallets of old computers from schools and then parts them out. These particular cards come from a Gateway Media PC. It's an Emuzed MAUI IIIG, a link to the drivers in in the wiki under supported hardware cards.

Sabrent USB2.0 TV Box (probably the cheapest usb tv tuner) works fine for me with GraphRecorder plugin (live, timeshifting and recording).
