I'd forgotten all about that. I think it's been maybe 5 years since I last owned a car and I'd been using unleaded for several years before that (primarily because it was cheaper than 4 star). I don't even know the price of petrol anymore - hmmm...I wonder if I could remember how to use a petrol pump if I needed to. Smile

Cheers,
Brian

Mostly by bike (of the pedal variety). I don't have far to go very often and if I have to, cycling 5 or 10 miles (or further) doesn't bother me much as long as I have the time and the weather is OK. We're also allowed to take our bikes on the train for no extra cost (except for peak commuter times) so if I want to get somewhere quicker I do that.

Quote: They still have those 3 wheel cars? One wheel up front and two in the rear. Odd looking cars.
There are still some around but Reliant (the makers) went bust I think.

Cheers,
Brian

They still wrap them in paper but they don't use newspaper any more - shame it gave you something to read while you were having your fish supper. Smile

Tipstir, I'm from Northern Ireland - we can claim Irish and UK residency from the one placeSmile Petrol in the UK was about 90p a litre when I was last home. So multiple that by 3.8 to give you the equivalent in US gallons.

Cheers.
