TV now shows MVPMC Myth TV screen?!?!?

I am so confused. I rebooted my machine today and all of a sudden the TV now show MVPMC Myth TV stuff? I am not even sure what that is. I use GBPVR...are they related? How do I get this off?

I clicked on the "Emulator" button in MVPMC and it seems to have launched GBPVR. This is so weird. Is this because of a new dongle that I installed about 7 days ago?

Would that be the mvpmc-dongle you installed?
When you installed this new dongle did you restart(=unplug) the mvp? That's the only way to load a new dongle in your mvp.

You need to reinstall the dongle.bin from gbpvr. To get this to happen in the first place, you or someone else would have had to have followed many steps (downloading, unzipping and copying), so hopefully you made a backup of your original dongle.bin file as recommended.

That must be it...but it was week ago and I have rebooted since. Oh well. What dongle should I be using?

tipstir recently made an installable copy but I'm not sure of the version. You can always get hold of a copy of the 9912 one (I'll send you it if you need it), or a newer one from shspvr.com / Hauppauge.com.
