I have a computer with gbpvr 99.12 and a Hauppauge PVR-350 using it for TV outs. I was wondering whenever I try to play Divx or Xdiv file out of My Videos the screen just goes black. Is it because I'm using the PVR-350 and need to use a different output or an I missing a file of some sort. Thanks for the help.

Not long ago there was someone with the same problem, I think if he transcoded the avi beforehand it would play ok. You might want to take a look into the Zprocess plugin and it's support thread. I'm quite sure Zed will have ideas about it. you can find it here:

yes, you can only output mpeg to the tv out on the 350 so you will have to convert the file to mpg format. If you have a decent spec cpu, I think you can do this on the fly but I have no experience of trying this.

as far as I can remember the other person with the same problem had the transcoding starting as it should (automatically) but the 350 refused to play the file while it was being transcoded.
