Have you tried setting the renderer to overlay rather than custom?

Also, try removing ffdshow altogether.

It these 2 steps don;t work, you will need to install graphedit (search forum or web) to enable you to view the lastgraph.grf file created by gbpvr. This will show you what filters are being used by gbpvr. It may be that gbpvr is choosing different ones to the ones being used by WMP.

you find out what filters you have installed (and change their merit/priority) by downloading a filter manager such as this one

Yeah, I'd try 'Overlay' renderer.

Graphedit shows from the lastgraph.grf file that AVI Decompressor is the codec that is being used. I'm using Radlight filter manager to change that to use ffhshow codec but I can't figure out how to do that, can someone assist me with that? Thanks in advance all.

AVI decompressor doesn't sound right.

From AVI splitter, mine goes into DivX Decoder filter (for video).

I would recommend you try and get things working without ffdshow first. It can complicate things.

Assuming you have divx or xvid installed, make sure that one of these filters has the highest merit (nad higher than ffdshow if you are leaving it installed)

Just wondering if you did try uninstalling then re-installing the divx codec? I know it plays fine in wmp but i had the exact same issue and this resolved it for me.

yep, that could work as re-installing divx may set the divx codec to have the default merit resulting in it being used rather than AN Other codec.
