Hey folks,

Recently bought a Nova-t 500 and im having trouble picking up all the available muxes.

Im pointing at the Winter Hill (UK) transmitter, and cant get muxes 2 and A.

Ive tried the ScanChannelsBDA utility, and although it picks up mux 2 (logs below) it measures quality at 25% and i cant get a picture when trying to go to any of the channels via LiveTV in GBPVR or WinTV.

so, i was wondering what others experiences have been with this card, especially anyone whos also using the WinterHill transmitter. My uncles system uses a single Nova-T pci and a Nova-T USB2 which both pick up all channels without a problem. Ive took my system round to his house to try the 500 on his aerial and get the same result as described above.

any thoughts?

from the way ive understood it, WH-B will get scanned when I dont specify what region im in in the config, thats right isnt it?

doing a full scan doesnt pick up any extra stuff that setting the region to Winter Hill does.

I set up a NOVA card about a month ago and I remember now that I had trouble with 2 and A at that time but I kept trying and finally got them to be recognised. I googled and I think that people claimed that the power on those muxes had been turned down. Try googling for that!
