If that's the case, then I'd agree with you. At least I learned something new! I can always write my own C# app to scan the RECORDING_SCHEDULE table for entries with a blank filename field, then delete that entry. If I do this, would you want it on the wiki to possibly entice people into breaking their gbpvr.db3 file?

You're welcome to put it on the wiki if you want.

I have the same issue - cannot delete failed recordings from within GBPVR. There is no trace of the offending recording in the recorded tv folder. Trying to delete from the built-in recordings screen, not a plugin. Any ideas for a fix?

Sorry, should've known better. Long time lurker, rookie poster.
These are the logs in the gbpvr directory. I hope these are what you're looking for.

Thanks for your time.

I dont think its the same error, since you get a different error message in your logs.

Do you have a <DeleteAdditionalExtensions> setting in your config.xml? If so, what is it set to?

Nope. There is no <DeleteAdditionalExtensions> setting in config.xml. I have never modified config.xml manually, so it should be "stock."

I have had the same problem with several recordings. They say "failed" but I cannot delete them. All of the failed recordings are with recurring recordings. What are the steps I need to take to delete these? It looks like I need to create some blank dummy files so they can be deleted. How do I set up GBPRV to point to the blank file names?

BTW...Great application! Nice to see .NET put into an excellent consumer product.

Here is what my log file looks like when I try to delete one of the failed recordings. In this case, I tried an episode of Spongebob.
