Is this possible ? I am finding that if my server is doing something else taxing, at the same time as recording, I get very stuttery results. Is there any way of setting the GBPVRRecordingService priority to a higher level automatically ? I can set it manaully, but it will then reset when the box restarts.

Look in config.xml in the gbpvr directory. There is a line called something like ForceRecordingServiceHighPriority (but probably not exactly like that), which you can change to true or something. If you can't find it, post again and I'll take a look for you later.

Is this actually working in 1.0.16? I have the flag set but my recording service is sitting at abovenormal priority which isn't good enough when I play a game and I get dropouts.

Yes this setting works. With that setting set to true it'll move the priority to Above Normal.

Okay, any chance we can get it back to High priority rather than just Above Normal? I've been finding when I do intensive stuff with my machine that the recording fails due to, I presume, buffer over-runs when streaming to disc.
