Howto enter text for guide search?

You can press any numbers you want the the TV Guide will search for that channel. Don't know about shows you could try it on the HAU Remote for MVP and see if it works. Did you turn on the feature on the Config.exe at the MiSC tab so you can use the remote as text base or etc.. Or you can use the SearchGuide it does a better jobs finding shows with text from the remote. That's how I did it for years since 2004.

TV Guide can pull up any channel you press on your remote from MVP.
SearchGuide can pull up any alpha or numeric from using your remote for MVP.
I don't know if the TV Guide can do alpha from the remote from MVP. As I never did it that way just numeric.

I have no problems in TV Guide at all, numbers work fine. I was just wondering how to type in a numerical digit from the remote when using the MVP into a search field. I still haven't tried hitting it 4 times.
I'l check for a PM.
