Hello.

Lately, when I try to run either gbpvr.exe or config.exe from the gbpvr directory, it kicks of the microsoft install program for gbpvr. after cancelling out of the install several times, the config program comes up. I am afraid to let the install continue as I dont want to lose anything I had before...

The only thing I have changed recently is I just updated the web folder to the latest release of the Enhanced Web Admin...

Any ideas on why this may be happening?

Thanks
Jigster

when installing EWA you removed / deprecated one of the gbpvr install components. So when you run config or gbpvr, it detects this and runs the reinstall again. You should let it complete, I can't see how you will loose anything (but take a backup of the gbpvr folder first)

You need to follow the EWA install instructions on the wiki very carefully. it is something like, delete everything in the web folder except files x, y and z and then extract the new installation to the web folder.

Usually Windows will add a message in the Windows Event Viewer saying why if it had to run the MSI Installer.
