DVD Navigator Problems VMR9 and Overlay

I have been having problems using my remote with GBPVR on a LCD HDTV since I started using the Power DVD decoder. I read this article of how to allow Power DVD to use VMR 9 instead of overlay and it did help, but there are still some menus on almost all DVD's that I cannot navigate. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas and any advice on what I will miss if I use Overlay instead of VMR9. Like I said I am using a LCD HDTV, 8500GT Video Card and a strong enough system to run whatever. Here is a link to how I enabled Power DVD for VMR9.

If you use the default 'DVD Navigator' filter with the Cyberlink audio and video decoders, does it help?

In my above post I am referring to the default DVD Navigoator. I tried the others at one point and got no where. I also read somewhere on this site that said you should be using the default ones. Thanks for the the help.

Just wondering again if anyone might be able to help me get the VMR9 working with the DVD Navigator or help me out with what I will loose if I use overlay instead of VMR9.
