MVP shows no Video

I can't figure this out. When I start GBPVR on the computer, it shows the live tv and recorded video fine. On the Media MVP, it shows everything except the video. What decoder am I missing? Or check box somewhere.... The MVP does show the skin, and everything else, just not the video.

Any help and ideas would be great! I am using the latest build, and the Plain Jane skin if that makes any difference.

What type of video are you trying to play? The MVP can only natively play .mpg files. Any other type of file requires transcoding, which introduces more complexity.

I am using mpeg, video from a PVR-150. It was working, and for some reason now it is not.

I got it fixed. Not sure what changed that fixed it though.... Maybe it was gremlins, i was just watching that a couple of days ago......

Not sure if this helps, but I sometimes get this, it tends to happen if I start up the MVP and htne don't play something within a minute of it starting. If I then try to play something, I just get a blank screen. All the OSD works, but the MVP won't play anything.

The solution for me is to turn it off and on again, and then it works, providing I start playing something quickly. Once something has been played once, even if only for a few seconds, I can then leave it as for ages and it still works fine.

Maybe this happened to you? I get the same problem with two different MVPs, both different revisions, and two completely different GB-PVR setups.
