I love GB-PVR but have two problems:

1. When running full screen on WIndows Vista, I see a light blue line along the right and bottom edges of the screen all the time. How do I get rid of that?

2. When trying to play MP3 files, I get an "image error" dialog boc reporting errors which reads title: "Windows - Bad Image" text in the window: "Exception Processing Message 0xc000007b Parameters 0x75E8023C 0x75E8023C 0x75E8023c 0x75E8023C". I click OK but the program then just hangs.

I tried uninstalling an reinstalling. Oh, videos play back fine. Suggestions?

This is a known problem with running in fullscreen mode on vista. I'll fix it in the next release.

Sorry, I dont really have any ideas. Zip and attach the logs though and I'll take a look though.

I'm guessing you've got some broken directshow filter installed. It might be hard to identify what exactly though. Check the Windows Event Viewer to see if it gives more details.

Thanks! Amazingly fast service!

Windows event viewer says:

Faulting application GBPVR.exe, version 1.0.2614.27229, time stamp 0x00000005, faulting module ole32.dll, version 6.0.6000.16386, time stamp 0x4549bd92, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x0003cf7a, process id 0x650, application start time 0x01c7ab26f1691090.

So it is faulting someting in OLE32.DLL

The GBPVR logs do not seem helpful. The last line is just a "About to start playback of V:\cdcopy\... " etc giving the correct path of the MP3 file. Since the app crashes it never has a change to log another error, I guess.

I will see what I can find out about DirectShow. And thanks! I will be happy to test on Vista for you. My machine is a Core 2 Duo, if that matters.
