Pulling my hair out and desperately seek your help. I'm experiencing scheduled recording failures which I can't figure out. Sometimes it records properly and other times not. It's about 50:50 so we're not talking about infrequent isolated failures. I am including the logs (which will include a variety of test recordings scheduled in different ways - manually, quick record, and standard record) but from my perusal of them, I'm not seeing any obvious problems. The recordings are starting but only result in 4KB files. The GBPVR status does show that it is recording the entire time. I've tried using other muxes besides DVR-MS (e.g. ATI, Intervideo, and Cyberlink) but they did not solve the problem. I'm NOT running Windows MCE (just plain XP Pro SP2) nor do I have any other apps or services which could also be trying to access the capture card (HDTV Wonder). Lastly, I have no reason to believe there is any problem with the card itself since I've tried it in another PC running MCE2005 and experienced no recording failures there and I've also tried it in my current PC by disabling GBPVR and scheduling recordings with WatchHDTV with no failures. So, I'm left believing that it is indeed an issue with GBPVR but I can't for the life of me figure out the source. PLEASE HELP!!! TIA

P.S. - I do use NOD32 antivirus but HAVE applied the related dot net hotfix which DID stop the associated error from appearing in the logs. So, presumably that isn't the source but I thought I should mention it anyway.

I'm not really sure. I cant see any obvious problem in the logs. Everything in there looks ok from what I can tell.

Thanks for checking. If anyone has any ideas, I would welcome them. Otherwise, I guess I'll just have to cross my fingers and hope the next release somehow magically fixes this for me.
