I've tried the MVP Screen Position plugin, but I still have the top of my picture off the top of the screen. Recordings play fine, but the menu is off.
Any ideas?

maybe copy your settings to the all mvp section, not just the one specific to your mac address.
And you can only set the screen up for menus, not playback, like you noticed. Here is my setup (I'm NTSC) <!-- position --> <MVPWidth>628</MVPWidth> <MVPHeight>428</MVPHeight> <MVPOffsetX>36</MVPOffsetX> <MVPOffsetY>28</MVPOffsetY>

I'm only using the Global/All MVP section at this time.
Question, which one is USA, NTSC or PAL, I can never remember. I'm in USA.

Ntsc
Pentium 4 3000, XP, 1.5gig of memory, 460gig harddrive, Nova T Dual, , PVRX2 3 MVP`s

On my setup, the box looks good at
Width 624, Height 404, X offset 40, Y offset 228 But the onscreen instructions say NTSC must be less than 480 for Height and Y.

Y offset looks wrong there. There is no way its 228.
If Y offset + height is greater than 480 for NTSC, then the settings are ignored entirely.

I would suggest manually editing the config.xml to use
Width 720, Height 480, X offset 0, Y offset 0 (Note the Width is 720 rather than the original default of 640...) Now, using the remote, you can resize the image and move it around quite well. http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Plugi...ition#toc5 When you're done, use those values... I know that for me, I was able to have much more latitude in adjusting the screen once I started with these values... Edit: and I did set the MVP to 16x9 mode using the Hauppauge software, even though I had a 4x3 TV http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utili...cess#toc40

Thanks, looks great on my system. (4x3 not 16x9, don't see why I would use that yet.)
