Please Mr. Sub, could you provide some insight into the mysterys of tuner allocation logic.
I had some recordings last night that looked like this in the guide.
Channel 1: A-----A
Channel 2: B-----BC-----C
I have three tuners. I expected The 3rd would start on program C and allow the other two to complete thier post padding. But instead
the tuner on B stoped and then started C.
All tuners have all chanels maped.
Back when I had only two tuners I found the <PreferAltinatingSource> set true worked well. But I did think that was only for two tuners.
I know there have been many requests to manually select the tuner - I am not looking to do that, just wondering - how does it work?
