I've tried searching the forums for this one but haven't been able to find anything myself.

There were a few topics that sounded similar but in the end weren't my problem.

My problem is, when playing any recorded video back through GBPVR there's no audio. Audio works fine through live TV and the recordings have sound when played in external applications like media player classic and VLC.

I've played around with the audio decoder and renderer options in config, trying all possible combinations. I've seen in some posts that there was a registry key keeping people's volumes near mute so i checked for that key as well but it didn't exist on my system.

I've tried with several older versions of gbpvr in the past and now 1.08 as well.

If you need to know my system, i'm running a fresh install of windows XP Pro SP2 (fully updated with all .net frameworks) on an old 2.6 GHz P4 with 1GB of ram, a Creative sound blaster audigy sound card, and a Leadtek winfast pvr2000 OEM tuner card

Any help would be awesome. If you need any more info, i'd be glad to provide more. Smile

I'm sure it'll come down to the audio decoder or audio renderer you're using. Which audio decoders have you tried?

I tried FFDShow and MPEG Audio decoders before after quickly installing codecs from CCCP. I then tried AC3 which didn't work either. So I decided I'd dig out the nvidia purevideo decoders i got from a friend. That ended up working.

Thanks for the help. Big Grin
