Hi Sub,

I have been working on getting the mdapi working. I moved my dvb card over to another machine and it works with the mdapi version 2.0 beta 1 with my plugin on 1.0.8. Playback is too choppy (weak machine) so I want to get it working in my HTPC box. I moved over the exact plugin files, the mdapi and the other necessary files. I did a clean install of 1.0.8 and then tried to setup my card, using the same settings as on the test rig. In config, when scan, the mdapi ap starts and the plugin starts in the tray. Problem is the plugin does not seem to try to do anything. When you right click the mdapi icon in the tray, it just says Log and does not show the plugin like it does on the other machine. If you click to show the logging window, it says "mdapi_unknown". I am attaching the logs that it took while scanning for channels. I know this is likely not your issue, but any thoughts would be helpful. The same plugin does currently work on the HTPC box on Dream so I know the card is working. Thanks

I'm not really sure. Given you're getting the tray icon, every sounds like it should be running. Maybe double check you've got the exact same version of the mdapifilter.ax and ffdecsa as you're got working on your other machine.

I copied them directly off my other installation across the network. I even moved in the entire gbpvr directory to test in place of the current one. The odd thing is it starts the filter, but I don't get the plugin showing on the filter icon when you click on it. This happens with all plugins I have tried. I had a couple working on the other machine and they always showed up on the filter icon. It must be some diff between the 2 windows installations or some support file somewhere. Is there any other special file it may need?

Thanks for the brain cells!

No, not that I cant think of. mdapifilter.ax (which must be registered), and ffdecsa.dll, and plugins in MDPlugins subdirectory.

Maybe try the older version of mdapifilter?

Its been surprisingly sunny for the middle of winter. Feels like spring...but I'm sure winter will be back with a vengence.
