I installed v1.0.8 today. I have two problems that need your help.

1. PVRX2 - I cannot change the window aspect ratio size. It got stuck at 16x9. With the old GBPVR I can change the windows width or height. So now, my tv or recordings look stretched. I tried changing it in playback (4x3), but it comes back as 16x9.

2. While watching live tv, the on screen control buttons are missing, eg. no pause, or play buttons. With the old GBPVR, I just use my mouse to click on the pause, play, ff, etc. But these buttons are missing in my PVRX2.

TIA for your help. BTW, GBPVR still works as usual.

This intentional. If you're on a 16x9 screen, then it should stay as a 16x9 aspect ratio window when resizing. Assuming you've got your tv shape set to 16x9 in the config app, then playing 16x9 video will fill the window, while playing 4x3 video will be pillar boxed (black bars left/right).

There is no OSD buttons at this stage. These were a lower priority to me than the remote, and I havnt found time to implement them in the new UI yet. They'll most likely return in the next release.

Thanks Sub for your quick response, and clarification.

I do not play video. I only watch and record cable TV. No matter what I set on in Config (16x9 or 4x3), live tv or recordings always play in 16x9 with no black bars on either side. Is this the intention?

If you press F7 to the 'auto' aspect ratio, then it should show with the correct aspect ratio.

You do need to be explicitly selecting the video decoder rather than relying on 'system default' for this to work though.
