Hi Sub,

I'm sure this has been mentioned before but I would really like to get the visualisation working in the built in music player.

Ive got superb picture quality on all my sources (including my software RGB aquisition card using Software recorder) and have setup ffdshow image postprocessing and selective deinterlace on analogue in etc.

The only remaining issue for me is the visualisation issue in the music player.

If the function was not there I would probably not worry - but it is there in a small window. Its pretty cloudy patterns taunt me. I try to ignore them but they sit in the corner of the screen tempting me to attempt fix. This is significantly degrading the quality of my life. :-)

I have tried to get external vis apps working but cant quite manage integration into GBPVR.

I would be grateful, plead, grovel, if you could arrange music vis to work. On my PC the visualisation starts full screen only after a 2min delay, then there is full screen clouds and lightning storms, full blown acid trip etc, then the track ends and the gbpvr screen saver kicks in. Only way to clear it is to hit back and then there is another 2 min delay before visualisation returns full screen.

Fix would be to add a button on the music app to switch to full screen visualisation and leave it running until all tracks have been played.

Cant use ML2 as it needs tagged music files (which mine are not)

Visualisations have been a feature of all previous versions of GB-PVR over the last year and a half or so, but unfortunately I decided not to support them under the new PVRX2 user interface because they would not be compatible Fullscreen Exclusive mode.

I see. There is a good reason then.

I've not used the PVRX2 screen as I get video tearing using the Full screen exclusive modes. I'm currently using the GBPVR.exe in 1.08

Best video for me is in overlay mode.

Maybe I'll try writing a plugin. How hard can it be :-)

Thanks anyway.
