The first time I watch a digital channel after I open pvrx2 I always get the message "No signal detected. Please ensure that the antenna cable is connected or that the antenna signal is strong enough." on the screen, and the indicators show around 80% signal strength and quality right now. If I go back to the program guide and start watching the same or another digital channel, I don't get those messages again. They only show up the very first time, each and every time, after I open pvrx2.

BTW, what keys do I press to get that screen on demand? Occasionally one of the signals is weak, it'd be nice to be able to look.

A couple of others have pointed this out in another thread and I'm look into it. I dont get it here, but I'm sure I'll get to the bottom of it soon.

It used to be Ctrl-O, but I'm not sure if I implemented this in PVRX2 or not.

Confirmed it's CTRL-O in GBPVR, but not implemented in PVRX2. Can I request you add that to the next release please?

Great job on PVRX2 BTW. Also seems more responsive on my system. I just got done upgrading tonight so I can switch to the new listings feed at the end of the month.

Tested the patch, that resolves it.

Thanks! Now I've just got to figure out some better settings so the picture isn't so bad on playing back digital channels.

I think I did the patch but still had to manually edit config.xml. I can't think of it offhand, you'll have to do a search, but it starts with something like "BDAcapturesignalCheck" and I think it's normally "true" between the < > and you need to make sure it's "false" and then save the file. Searching on my name and put "signal" in the search line should bring it up pretty quick since I posted about it once or twice.

Thanks Deusxmachina. Couldn't find the post you mentioned but using your advice changed:

<BDADisableStatusChecks>false</BDADisableStatusChecks>
to
<BDADisableStatusChecks>true</BDADisableStatusChecks>

which appears to have done the trick so thanks again!

All the best
Al
