According to the Dell Digital TV setup wizard screen, my Dell Mini 10 netbook has an internal:
"Hauppauge WinTV MOD7700 ATSC Tuner (Dev1 Path0)"

The ATSC version is NOT one of the listed BDA settings. Is there a different setting that I can substitute instead? Thanks!

Run filtercheck.exe located in the GBPVR program folder and zip and post the resulting filtercheck.log. An entry can then be created for you.

I also have a Dell Mini 10 with built in TV tuner. Here's the file you requested for my machine. Can you help?

Here is the entry:

Code:
[Hauppauge WinTV MOD7700 ATSC #1]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
FILTER_TUNER="Hauppauge WinTV MOD7700 ATSC Tuner (Dev1 Path0) "
FILTER_CAPTURE="Hauppauge WinTV MOD7700 ATSC Capture (Dev1 Path0)"
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

[Hauppauge WinTV MOD7700 ATSC #2]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
FILTER_TUNER="Hauppauge WinTV MOD7700 ATSC Tuner (Dev1 Path1) "
FILTER_CAPTURE="Hauppauge WinTV MOD7700 ATSC Capture (Dev1 Path1)"
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

I didn't see the #2 device in your filtercheck.log but I modelled the entry off of the DVB-T device by the same name.

Thank you so much for your willingness to help. I'm very new at this - probably should have given you more info. I have a new Dell Mini 10 - has built in tv tuner (as described above). I'm trying to install an app to record tv since the included Dell Digital TV app won't record. Thought GBPVR would do the trick, but I don't think it is "recognizing" the tv card. Thanks for your last post, but would do I do with the code you provided? Thank you so much again.

That device definition needs to be added to the bda.ini file. Then you need to setup a capture source in the config app.

whurlston and sub --1000 THANKS! That worked like a charm on my Mini10. Right now, it's going through its "digital channel mapping" Smile

By the way. Anybody knows where to buy the antenna needed for this tv tuner? Thanks in advance for your help.
